The latest open source community in Romania - Mozilla.ro
Mozilla.ro is an initiative to form a new romanian community around Mozilla products. Thanks to Alexandru Szsaz for helping me to launch this initiative (Alex is the Narro project and also the principal of Mozilla products translation into romanian). Together with Alex I launched the first Mozilla.ro website and now we are trying to build a strong romanian community around Mozilla. First of all, we need help to translate Mozilla Support and all the mozilla-europe webpages.

Last two weeks I was very busy
Sorry for not posting on my blog for long time. It was a very busy period for me (and also I've passed through few nervous moments (maybe the absence of friends and the need to socialize). What have passed those 2 weeks:
- I had my firs interview for employement (now I'm waiting for the response)
- I decided to submmit a paper at ROCHI conference, about Usability of Open Source Applications (in collaboration with my friend, Anca) - now, I'm working on it
FOSS Day at Universitat of Barcelona
As I promised, I'll write some impressions about Open Source Day at University of Barcelona which took place last week (I know, I know that is a little late, but I had some pesonal problems this week). Ok, let's begin...was an interesting day with interesting presentations and speakers. Topics covered a large area of open source and free software: about GNU project and philosophy, about the GPLv3 lecense, its benefits and different aspects regarding compatibility, usage (personally I liked very much this presentation, which were made by Malcom Bain, an english lawyer specialized on ITC).
